Welcome to Sandhills Beer & Hymns

Good songs. Good drinks. Good people. No perfect voices required.

Once a month, we gather around tables, grab something to drink, open the songbooks, and sing together. Sometimes we sound pretty darn good. Sometimes enthusiasm carries us farther than harmony. Either way, it’s a whole lot of fun.

Sandhills Beer & Hymns meets the second Sunday of each month at 6:00 PM at North South Brewing Company in downtown Fayetteville.

There are no tickets, no auditions, no sermons, and absolutely no requirement that you know all the words. We bring the songbooks. You bring yourself—and maybe a friend or two. Grab a local craft beer, choose something non-alcoholic, find some food, pull up a chair, and join in.

Come as you are. Seriously.

Beer & Hymns is about creating a place where people can experience the simple joy of singing together and belonging together.

Church people, former church people, never-been-to-church people, people who aren’t quite sure what they believe, and people who’d rather not put a label on it at all—you’re welcome.

Drinkers and non-drinkers.
Great singers and enthusiastic mumblers.
Old friends and people who haven’t met yet.
There’s room at the table for you.

We sing hymns we grew up with, songs that stir something in us, and tunes that are simply more fun when a roomful of people sings them together.

So grab a friend, pull up a chair, and add your voice to the chorus.

Because here in the Sandhills, a good hymn sings better with good company.
